The Combi Rig

Part 1 – To make my combi rig, you will require semi-stiff coated braid hooklink, size 4 SPT wide gape hook, rig ring, kicker, tungsten anti-tangle sleeve, scissors, stripper tool and a couple of rig pulling tools.
Part 2 – Remove 15″ of coated braid and strip back 7.5″.
Part 3 – On the non-coated braided end, tie a small loop using a standard loop knot. Don’t forget to moisten the knot before tightening. This will form your hair length. Trim off any excess.
Part 4 – Thread on a rig ring and tie 2 granny knots approximately 1.5″ from the end.
Part 5 – Slide on the hook and pass the rig ring over the point. The rig ring should be opposite the point. Tie a knotless knot until there is there is just over an inch of supple braid left.
Part 6 – Slide on a rig kicker and place it over the eye of the hook.
Part 7 – Create a 2″ loop on the coated braid end using a figure of 8 loop knot. Don’t forget to moisten the knot before tightening.
Part 8 – Thread on a tungsten anti-tangle sleeve and trim of any excess coated braid. You have now created my version of a combi-rig, all that you need now is your bait.
